Once the app is downloaded, the user simply registers with their phone number and email address. No other personal data is required or stored. As a validation measure, the system sends a one-time code via SMS to be used as an access key to SEMM.

Once the user has received the access code, they are ready to access the system and fully operate with all its capabilities.

Parking

The main goal of the app is to simplify the start/end of parking. This is done with a simple button on the cell phone app.

• The start of parking can be canceled within the first 60 seconds without cost to prevent accidental starts.
• SEMM sends reminders every 2 hours after parking initiation to avoid incurring additional fees due to users forgetting to end their parking session.
• SEMM does not allow parking initiation outside of metered parking hours or on days when parking is free.
• SEMM automatically ends a user-initiated parking session when the metered parking time expires, regardless of whether the user has voluntarily ended the session.

Balance Top-Up

Balance can be topped up within the same app, using Mercado Pago services and the payment options it offers:

• Credit Card Payment
• Debit Card Payment
• Rapipago / Easy Payment
• Balance in the user's Mercado Pago account

It is important to note that the entire transaction takes place within the Mercado Pago site, utilizing all security measures that this platform guarantees. SEMM does not store any personal data or card information used in transactions. Once Mercado Pago confirms the payment (usually instantaneously), SEMM notifies the user of the top-up and automatically updates their balance, which is then available for starting parking sessions.

Sales Point

Users can head to an authorized establishment and provide the following information:

• App Users: Provide only their mobile number. Users must manually start and end their parking session.
• Non-App Users: Provide mobile number and license plate. Parking sessions are automatically started and ended.

Vehicles

The app enables users to register multiple vehicles associated with one account and initiate parking for any of them. Only one vehicle can be parked at a time.
